    GOALS:
    Develop the ability to observe, appreciate, and experience a wide variety of media and art techniques. Develop an appreciation for different cultures and famous artists throughout history. Have the opportunity to compete in local art contests.  Gain a better understanding of yourself. Learn responsibility, ownership, and self-reliance.
    ART SUPPLIES:
    SEVERAL (2) #2 PENCILS TO BE STORED IN CLASS AT ALL TIMES
    ONE HAND HELD PENCIL SHARPENER (NOT BATTERY OPERATED)
    1 WHITE ERASER NO PINK PEARL ERASERS!
    OPTIONAL:  BOX OF WATERCOLORS
    BOX OF  TISSUES 
    CEREAL BOX 6TH AND 7TH GRADE ONLY
    OLD BOOK 8TH GRADE ONLY (FURTHER DETAILS WILL BE TO COME)

    Guide lines will typically follow the standards below. Each art project and homework assignment will be given a rubric of criteria. Students need to listen, read, and follow directions clearly to Pass.

    ABSENCES:
    IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENT TO MAKE UP WORK BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL WITH AN APPOINTMENT. TRANSPORTATION MUST BE ARRANGED PRIOR TO MAKE UP DAY.
