I
would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name
is Mrs. Porter and I will be your child’s second grade teacher. It
has been my pleasure to work with many wonderful children and parents
to make learning both beneficial and fun. I am looking forward to an
exciting and productive year working with you and your child.
Throughout my years of teaching I have become committed to the
importance of parent involvement in a student’s education. I firmly
believe that your child receives the best education possible when you

home a monthly newsletter to inform you of upcoming events in the
classroom, the same information listed on this web site. If you have
