This summer, we will be hosting USA Hockey on our campus. Players, coaches and refs will be living on our campus while they conduct their Player Development Camps at Northtown Center. We will be providing 3 meals a day, 7 days a week. We will also have our retail dining and coffee shop open during their stay. After that, we have Daemen’s New Student Orientation Week as well as various other events that will keep us busy until the fall semester. Daemen has a great atmosphere and I believe your students would enjoy their time here while also gaining some solid work experience.

I have included a flyer that includes more information. Working papers are required. Daemen requires COVID testing for all employees unless proof of vaccination can be provided. COVID tests will be done on campus by Daemen for those who need it.

I have attached our application but I also provided the link to our online application as that might be easier for the applicant. Over 18 is not a requirement nor are background checks so students can disregard those areas of the application.

Youth accepted into the program will work 20 hours per week July 12, 2021 through August 27, 2021 at an assigned worksite. During the program, youth will also be required to participate in mandatory activities and in addition be offered an opportunity to participate in educational offerings. Youth will earn above the State minimum wage of $12.50 per hour.

Qualifications and skills required for the ideal Machinist: 

• High School diploma or equivalency

• Ability to learn and take notes while training with one of our senior machinists. • Authorized to work in the United States

General Mills is accepting applications for temporary seasonal employment to begin on  June 1st, 2021 and continue through September/October.  

Position includes general labor in either our Cereal or Flour facilities. Some forklift operation possible.  

Seasonals are assigned to either Flour or Cereal on their start date, PLUS overtime  opportunities and shift differential. The rate of pay is $14.00 for both Flour and Cereal.  Overtime is paid at 1.5X after 8 hours, all time worked on Saturday is paid at 1.5X, all time  worked on Sunday is paid at 2X.
