    This is my 7th year at Cleveland Hill School District.  I am proud to be a part of such a great school community!

    Currently I work with students in 2nd grade through 5th grade with various speech and language needs.

    My email at Cleveland Hill Elementary School is: slang@clevehill.org. Please feel free to email me any time! Many parents find it an easy way to learn more about what their children are doing in speech therapy. This also allows for me to answer any of your questions in a very timely fashion. I can also be contacted at the Elementary School by calling 836-7200.


    Where did I grow up and go to school?

    I grew up in Tonawanda, NY.  I graduated from Ken Ton School District.  From there I attended Ithaca College where I earned a BS  Speech Pathology-Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped in 2000. From there I purused graduate work and earned a MA in Communicative Disorders from SUNY Buffalo. I graduated in 2002.

    What certifications do I hold?

    In addition to my permanent certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH), I have NYS Licensure in Speech Pathology. I also have the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).

    Where was I before I came to Cleveland Hill School District?

    Prior to working at Cleveland Hill School District, I worked for Child Pro of WNY and Therapeutic Link for Children for a total of 8 years.  At these agencies, I serviced preschool students and children birth to age 3 with various speech and language delays and disorders.  I also worked at Global Concepts Charter School in Lackawanna, NY for two years.

    What else is there to know about me?

    I am a very proud mother of two boys and one girl. David is 11, Ethan is 8 and Clara is almost 4! I enjoy spending my free time with them and my husband Dave. We take full advantage of doing fun things in the greater Buffalo area. We truly love WNY! I enjoy bike riding, sledding, visiting local playgrounds with my kids, exploring the zoo, different museums and beaches,and simply spending time with my family and close friends.  I believe in keeping life simple to enjoy every minute!
