Shining Stars
Goal: To recognize students who consistently demonstrate qualities that make Cleveland Hill Middle School a better place to be! These qualities include respect to self, school and others, responsibility, kindness, generosity, good manners, school spirit and a love of learning.
Who is eligible? All CHMS students!
What will the students receive? A star with their name, a brief description of why they were nominated on the Shining Star bulletin board, a certificate and letter mailed home, recognition at the June Awards Assembly, prizes, and an invitation to the June SUPER STUDENT Ice Cream Social during Field Day.
How often will Shining Stars be chosen? Once a month.
What is the nomination process? All MS teachers will be given a nomination form each month. Teachers will nominate a student and write a brief explanation as to why they nominated that student. All students who are nominated will receive recognition.
