PSAT
This page is set up to inform parents and students of the PSAT, it's intent is to provide parents and students with information in understanding the PSAT Score Report, Khan Academy and the College/Major search tool students can utilize via the Collegeboard website.
If you have a child who is currently a junior, they will be taking the PSAT in October of thier junior year. The PSAT's focus on knowledge and skills that evidence shows matter the most for college and career readiness, the PSAT provides students with valuable feedback and tools to help them reach their college and career goals. By partaking in the PSAT students will receive free SAT practice from the Khan Academy, eligibility for scholarship competitions, access to college planning resources and the ability to connect with colleges from all over the globe.
A notification of your child's test scores will be sent electronically, via, email around a month after they take the test. Upon the return of the score reports, the counselors will be be meeting with your child to walk through their Score Reports, interpretation of the scores, using their Online Score Report, how to access individualized SAT prep via the Khan Academy and other college search resources provided through CollegeBoard as well.
